A first kiss that changed everything.
Killian Kane.

He was the most feared guy in high-school.

Guarded. Angry. A fighter.

But when I caught him watching me with his captivating green eyes I saw something more. Something protective and kind.

He warned me to stay away from him.

I did.

Until I didn’t and he kissed me. A knee weakening, body tingling kiss that left me breathless.
And scared the hell out of me.

And then…

He warned me never to come near him again or next time he wouldn’t let me go.

That was eleven years ago.

We aren't teenagers anymore. He has probably forgotten me.
He’s a famous rock star now. I’m a dance instructor with a broken dream and desperate for a job.

So, when we cross paths again I don't expect him to remember me.

He does.

And his warning eleven years ago? I'm about to find out exactly what that meant.

Excerpt copyright 2017

The thin sweet crunch mixing with the light, airy cream tickled my tongue.

Indulging was rare. Indulging in something like crème brûlée was heaven on a spoon.

But what made it even more like heaven was that Killian watched me with desire blazing in his eyes.

I swallowed, then with the tip of my tongue, I slid it over my lower lip, licking the remnants of cream.

“Fuck,” he growled.

I secretly smiled, heart pumping wildly.

I’d never been sexy or tried to be sexy, but I wanted to be with Killian. He made it easy for me to be brave.

Lights dim, candles flickering, the soft jazz music in the background, skin tingling from the sexy-as-hell man next to me, yeah, I was brave.

I dipped the spoon in again, but Killian’s fingers spanned my wrist, stopping me.

I met his eyes and without a word, but knowing exactly what he wanted by the silent exchange of his steady expression, I released the spoon to him.

His attention went to the dessert where he tapped the light thin sugar shell before breaking through and sinking into the airy lightness.

He lifted the overfilled spoon at the same time as his eyes.

I thought he was going to take a bite himself, but he held the spoon out to me. “Open.”

I nervously laughed, thinking he was kidding; it was a huge mouthful. “It’s too much.”

“I know. Open, Savvy,” he said.

Oh, God, my belly dropped and my sex clenched. I swallowed, licking my lips again.

“No,” he said with a firm voice. “I didn’t ask you to lick your lips. Although that is fuckin’ delectable as hell.” His tone lowered further. “I asked you to open your mouth.”

My eyes widened. Holy. Fuck. That was hot. Demanding and a little scary because him using that voice I’d pretty much do anything he asked.

I opened, and he slid the dessert into my mouth, and since there was so much, it hit the roof, sides, and back of my throat. He didn’t remove the spoon right away and watched as I struggled not to pull away.

When I was just about to say screw it, he said, “My cock will fill your mouth a hell of a lot more than this.”

I nearly choked. And I would’ve if he didn’t slowly remove the spoon, my lips dragging over the cool, smooth surface of the spoon to make certain I took the entire dessert.

His elbow rested on the table, spoon in his hand, eyes on mine as I swallowed little by little until it was gone. The entire time I thought about his cock.

What she doesn’t expect is to fall hard and fast for both the veteran quarterback Paxton Davies and Dean Kincade, the eager young rookie looking to replace him. When things spiral out of control both on and off the field, Bexley will have to decide whether to risk it all on an impossible gamble, or to walk away and leave what’s left of her heart on the field.
The only thing she knows for certain is that, sometimes, finding love means re-writing the playbook.
SJ Noble writes sexy, sassy romances with hunky heroes and bad ass ladies.
She is the love child of authors June Stevens Westerfield and Sherry D. Ficklin, who have often lamented that between the two of them they are one amazing writer. Their debut series, The Memphis Knights Football Romance Novels, was born of Sherry’s deep and abiding love for football and June’s deep and abiding patience with her nonsense. They have been friends and partners in crime for most of the 21st century and plan to continue that streak well into their Life Alert years. They live worlds apart because, they suspect, that much awesome in one concentrated area *could* produce some sort of time-altering worm hole. That’s just science, folks.

“You know, I wish I had half as much faith in me as you do, Bex.”
He turns his full attention to me, his brown eyes dark and intense. For a moment I stare at him, my heart pounding hard in my chest as if counting the distance between us. When he leans toward me, I rock forward to meet him. There’s a voice in the back of my head screaming, but I stifle the sound. Meeting his lips with my own, I let myself tumble into him, a gentle warmth growing inside me. His hesitance evaporates and he clutches my waist, drawing a soft moan from my lips as my body reacts, taking us both by surprise. His lips are softer than I imagined, his touch gentler. It’s the sort of kiss you never expect, the kind that pulls you in like the tide rolling against the shore.
As soon as he releases me I feel the flush hit my face, my cheeks and ears burning with it. What the hell am I doing? Sliding off the desk I return the can to the fridge, keeping my back to Dean as I fight to steady my breathing.
“I’m sorry,” he says gently. “If I misread…anything.”
Taking a deep breath, I turn back to him, “No, no you didn’t. I just…can’t…”
Sliding off the table he crosses the room, taking my hands in his, “I’ve never met anyone like you,” he whispers, sending ripples along my skin. “Someone who takes none of my shit, but somehow seems to understand me better than anyone.” I inhale the scent of him and the room spins, everything becoming foggy, all the reasons this shouldn’t be happening vanish in a puff of smoke. “You can’t blame me for wanting you, for taking my shot.”

Erukkass’ people, a species of interdimensional aliens, have been observing Earth and interacting with humans for so many centuries that some Native American tribes believe their ancestors originated from the stars. When Jon’s sister suggests he should look into the legend of Handsome Fellow, Jon decides that if he cannot find happiness himself, he will bring it to others.

Jon returns home from work one evening to find a gift of his own—a strange young man waiting for him. Erukkass unveils one stunning revelation after another, including the truth behind his lover’s death and the nature of time itself. Excerpt:

An unladylike oof left Abigail as she began to fall to the floor only to be caught around the waist by a strong pair of arms. Her eyes shot up to her savior and the reason behind her fall, Abigail was instantly beguiled. For the first time in her life, it was she who was bespelled.

Blue eyes as deep and dark as sapphires gleamed down at her in impatience. A strong jaw clenched tight, held kissable lips that frowned at her. If the face wasn't enough to enchant her, the full head of black, silk hair that hinted of blue in the light made her hands itch to see how soft it actually was. It was enough to make anyone fall under his spell.

"Oh, good catch." Mandy watched in amusement, gesturing toward the god-like creature still holding Abigail in his arms. "This is Sebastian Storm, the CEO of Midnight Pharmaceutical and your new boss."

This was her boss? Abigail's eyes turned back to the man holding her in his arms. This glorious specimen of a man was going to be the one she answered to every day for the foreseeable future?

Any other time she would be thrilled to have any kind of attention from someone like him. Not only was he gorgeous but he hadn't even said a word and his presence demanded all of her attention. This was a man that got what he wanted, no questions asked. Thoughts of him commanding her in the bedroom seeped into her mind before she could help it, and she blushed.

“Was there something you needed, Mr. Storm?” Mandy asked the stoic man still holding onto Abigail’s waist.

“Yes, I was wondering how long I would have to wait for a new secretary. Things are beginning to pile up, and Lisa cannot keep doing two jobs, she’s hardly proficient in the one she has.”

If Abigail hadn’t already been on the verge of melting into the floor, the sound of his voice would have done it. It made her think of warm silk covered in the best chocolate; the hint of Hispanic heritage in his accent added a spicy edge to it. It was a voice she wanted to wrap around herself and savor.

"Well, you are in luck. It just so happens that this is Abigail Blanchard, your new night secretary."

At the introduction, Sebastian instantly dropped his hands from around her waist, leaving Abigail cold from where his arms had touched her. He stepped back from her, clearing his throat as he straightened the cuffs of his suit. His eyes went from curious to hard in an instant. All thoughts of this man ever embracing her for real were dashed from her mind.

Saddened by the thought, Abigail pushed it to the back of her mind as she realized what Mandy had just said. "Night secretary?"

Mandy nodded her head, her lips curving down. "Yes, the position you applied for was for Mr. Storm's nighttime secretary. Midnight Pharmaceutical is the only ever twenty-four-hour research and development facility.” Her brow crinkled as she glanced down at the papers in front of her. “I apologize, I thought you knew or I would have gone back over it in the interview."

"No, no." Abigail quickly jumped in, not wanting to look any more foolish in front of her new boss than she already did. "I am the one who should apologize. I remember now. It must have just slipped my mind from all the excitement."

"Well, it can be a little overwhelming at first," Mandy reassured her with a pat of her hand. "Midnight is like no other company you have ever worked for or ever will. We are ferociously loyal and we rarely have to hire new employees. Your position opening up was a surprise to us all. The last secretary went on maternity leave and suddenly decided not to come back to work. Hopefully, you will love it here as much as the rest of us and we won't have to hire someone else for a decade or so."

Abigail nodded her head politely. "Oh, don't worry, I don't plan on having children anytime soon. I think even the prospect of a boyfriend would be required first." Even as the words came out of her mouth, she felt herself freeze up. What the hell was she saying? Way to let them know just how pathetic she really was.

Internally, she was smacking herself over and over again but her inner torture was halted by a kind of choking sound coming from Sebastian. Jerking her attention back to her new boss, her eyes narrowed. From the slight gleam in his eyes, he was laughing at her.

"Welcome to Midnight, Miss Blanchard." The way he said her name in a deep accent pulled things low inside of her, and just like that, her fantasies of being bossed around by the wonderful man with the sinful voice were back in full swing.

“I had a feeling I’d see you again,” the voice called.
Dina looked around the wooded area, feeling confused for a moment. It seemed familiar. Across the marsh, Liam was leaning against a tree, casually dressed, hair slightly less shaggy than it had been last time, hands shoved in his skinny jeans. A light mist lingered over the grass, a taste of salt in the air. How did she get here?
“What?”
“Didn’t think it would be this soon,” he replied with a shrug.
The Gut surrounded her. She didn’t remember coming here, yet she was in the Bay Hook. Solid ground beneath her feet and the stench she breathed in, all real. “Why, uh . . . did you come back?”
“The real question is why did you call me here?”
“What are you talking about? You were already here, and I didn’t call. I don’t even have your number.”
“Want it?” he asked, smirking, then shook his head. “No, wait . . . oh. Uninhibited speech, foggy backdrop, extra flirty. I get it.”
“Get what?”
“We’re dreaming. You’re asleep right?”
“No,” she spat, spreading her arms, twisting in place. She pulled a cattail-punk out of the ground and shook it at him. “We’re in the Hook, hello, don’t you see the trees? Can’t you smell the marsh?”
“You must have been thinking about me, which is normal, frankly, given the circumstances. But how the hell are you keeping me here?”
“I’m not doing anything.”
“Dina, did both your parents have psionic abilities?”
“Only my father, why?”
“Curious,” he said, moving toward her, gray eyes sweeping up and down. “What about his parents, either of them?”
“I don’t know. What does it matter?”
“People don’t normally share dreams. You’re strong—”
“Why does everyone keep saying that?” Dina threw her hands up in the air and walked away. “Who cares if I am or not? There’s some dude out there burning up people, and I don’t have time to tramp around the swamp with E.T.”
“What did you say?”
“Nothing. Doesn’t matter. I’m outta here.”
“Wait, Dina,” he said, catching up and surpassing her. He grabbed both her arms to stop her. “You really are dreaming.”
Everything around her was too real to be a dream. She felt the pressure of his fingers, even the sinking feeling of her feet on the soft ground. “So this isn’t the Gut, it’s a dream? Right, and you’re sharing it with me, sure.”
“You’re amazing!” He laughed boyishly. “Even after all you’ve seen, you’re still questioning everything.”
“Then prove it to me. Call me, here’s my number,” she said, mentally sending the digits to his head.
Liam smiled at her. A sweet, sincere smile that made her smile back before shrugging.
“Dina—”
Her eyes popped open. The ceiling of her bedroom stared back. “Oh, what the hell?”
Dina sat up, brow furrowed. She reached toward the nightstand for her phone. Was it going to ring? It had felt as if she had been there, standing in the grass with Liam. She shut her eyes, trying to bring the images back, but they were already fading.
Had she just shared a dream with Liam?
